Welcome back to the Maker Lab!
The Maker Lab has been refreshed and reimagined with some great equipment and kits funded by our original LSTA Grant, ThermoFisher Scientific, and the Norfolk Public Library. Independently explore coding, robotics, and get hands on with some new crafts! Learn how to knit, crochet, needle felt, sew, and more. Keep an eye out for some staff-guided Maker Lab programming this summer.
How do I become a Maker?
All of our Makers must adhere to the Maker Lab Policy and have a signed waiver on file. Waivers are good for the calendar year in which they are signed. Waivers can be picked up at the circulation desk.
When is the Maker Lab Open?
The Maker Lab is open during library hours, unless there is a library program scheduled. The Maker Lab will also close thirty (30) minutes prior to the library closing. Weekly hours will be posted on the Maker Lab door.
