Students in grades 7 – 12 are invited to join the Teen Advisory Board. The goal of the Teen Advisory Board is to help make the Norfolk Public Library a place where you can be yourself and find the stuff you are interested in. We WANT your input! The Advisory Board does fundraising, helps at our bake sale and the Friends of the Library’s annual book sale, and some children’s programs. The Advisory Board also plans programs for their peers and selects materials for the library to buy.
What’s the payoff?
Community service hours (if you need them), meeting new people and finding out about new books before anyone else.
We will meet the second Wednesday of every month from 4:30 – 5:30pm. Dates are subject to adjustment for holidays or school programs. For a list of meetings please see the “Upcoming Meetings” section below.
Students from ANY town are welcome!
