Weekly Programs (March - June 2018)



**The last week of programs will be June 11th. Summer programs begin July 9th.** 

 Baby Time

Mondays, 10:15-11:00

Ages 0-16 months with caregiver

Music, play and stories for babies and their caregivers. There will be no meeting April 16th or May 28th.

Tales for Goslings

Mondays, 11:15-11:45

Age 0–3 with a caregiver

An interactive program for babies, toddlers, and caregivers. Join Miss Sarah for music, stories, and more! There will be no meeting April 16th or May 28th.

Fairy Tale Storytime

Tuesdays, 11:30-12:00

Ages 2-5 with caregiver

A storytime program that will focus on everything fairy tale! Join Miss Sarah for stories and crafts for the fairy tale lover in your house. Please note, this program will not be held on Ed Morgan days.

On My Own Storytime

Tuesdays, 2:00-2:30

Age 3 and up

An independent story time experience with books, songs, and a hands-on activity. Caregivers must stay in the building, but are encouraged to let children attend the program alone.

Multi-Age Storytime



Age 2 and up with a caregiver

An interactive drop-in story time with songs, games, and a hands-on activity.

Wiggly Ones (Registration required)

Wednesdays, 2:00-2:30

Ages 2-5 with caregiver. Registration is required for the series. Register here.

A program that will involve lots of gross stuff that you aren’t allowed to play with at home! Parents/caregivers must stay in the building, but are also encouraged to attend with their child.

Registration for the January-June series will open December 17.

New Program! Lunch Bunch Playgroup with Miss Sarah

Fridays, May 11th – June 8th

11:30 – 12:15 on Town Hill (weather permitting)

No registration required, ages 0 – 36 months

Bring your lunch and eat with Miss Sarah! We will eat, read, and play. Get to know other parents and caregivers in a relaxed setting. Please bring a blanket to sit on. In the event of inclement weather this program will be held in the storyhour room. 










Monthly Programs 2018



 Ed Morgan Sing-Along

First Tuesday of each month October – May

10:30-11:15am, All ages are welcome.

Join Ed Morgan for a sing-along with great music and dancing. A splendid time for everyone! Caregivers must remain with children.


Toddler Time (Registration required)

Third Tuesday of each month (Mar. 20)


Age 12-24 months with caregiver

Hands-on activities, exploration, and imaginative play for toddlers and their caregivers. Sponsored by Coordinated Family & Community Engagement Program. *Please note different date in February. Click on the date above to register.


Preschool Play and Learn (Registration required)

Fourth Tuesday of each month (Mar. 27)


Age 2-5 with a caregiver

A playgroup for preschoolers and their caregivers. Activities may include tactile play, movement, stories, and crafts. Sponsored by Coordinated Family & Community Engagement Program. Click on the dates above to register.


Picnic Playgroup

1st Friday of the month: 3/2, 4/6, 5/4, 6/1

Summer Dates: 7/13 and 8/3 

10:30-11:30, ages 0-5 with a caregiver

Bring a lunch and enjoy music, stories, and fun!


Saturdays with Sarah

2nd Saturday of each month

Last date: April 14th


Ages 0-6 with a caregiver

Join Miss Sarah for a Saturday storytime, then stay and play! Enjoy music, rhymes, a craft, and more.













Special Programs 2018




Creative Dance with Millis Dance Theatre

6 Week session beginning March 9th: 3/9, 3/16, 3/23, 3/30, 4/6, 4/13

Children will learn the fundamentals of dance including beginner dance steps set to spirited music. The class offered by Millis Dance Theatre will focus on creative expression through open-ended movement, such as dancing with ribbons, scarves, hula-hoops etc. This lively class is offered to children who have danced before as well as those with no prior experience and will increase flexibility, coordination and musicality. Children leave this class feeling happy and accomplished!

Boys and girls ages 2 – 4. Registration required, register here.

Caregivers do not need to stay in the room, but MUST stay in the building.

Attire: comfortable clothes (leotard and ballet slippers optional)

*If the class is full please still add yourself to the wait list as this will help with planning future classes.


Coastal Mountain Railroad

Saturday, April 28 10:00-4:00 and Sunday, April 29 12:00-4:00, Community Room

Drop in and see this truly extraordinary display of an HO scale model railroad, complete with sound.  Fun for all ages! No registration required.



April Vacation Movie Screening

4/18: Ferdinand


Community Room

Free popcorn and water will be provided, but please bring a

blanket to sit on. Open to all ages, no registration required. Movies begin promptly at 4. You may begin arriving at 1:45 to get settled in.

Summary: After Ferdinand, a bull with a big heart, is mistaken for a dangerous beast, he is captured and torn from his home. Determined to return to his family, he rallies a misfit team on the ultimate adventure.
