Story Times

 Baby Time

Mondays, 10:30 – 11:15am. No session on 9/9. Ages 0-16 months with an adult.  Music, play and stories for babies and their caregivers.   

 

 

Tales for Goslings

Mondays, 11:30 – 12pm. No session on 9/9. Age 0–5 with an adult. An interactive program for babies, toddlers, and caregivers with books, music, and rhymes galore!  

 

Fairy Tale Story Time

Tuesdays, 1:00 – 1:30pm Ages 2-5 with an adult.  A story time program that will focus on everything fairy tale! Stories and crafts for the fairy tale lover in your house.   

 

 

 

On My Own

Tuesdays, 2:30 – 3:00pm Age 3 and up. An independent story time experience with books, songs, and a hands-on activity. Caregivers must stay in the building, but are encouraged to let children attend the program alone.    

 

Multi-Age Story Time

Thursdays, 2:30 – 3pm Age 2 and up with an adult. An interactive drop-in story time with songs, games, and a hands-on activity.  

 

Pajama Story Time

Wednesdays, 6:30 – 7pm.  Age 0 – 5 with an adult. Wear your pajamas and bring your favorite toy. Join Miss Meghan for this new evening program of stories and songs!

Repeating Programs

 

Ed Morgan Sing-Along

First Tuesday of each month, beginning in October. 10:30-11:15am, All ages are welcome. Join Ed Morgan for a sing-along with great music and dancing. A splendid time for everyone! Caregivers must remain with children. Sponsored by the Friends.   

 

 

 

Wiggly Ones

Wednesdays, 2 – 3pm. Registration is required. Ages 2-5 with an adult.  10:30-11:15am, All ages are welcome. A program that will involve lots of gross stuff that you aren’t allowed to play with at home! Please list any food allergies your child might have when you register or contact Courtney Allen, [email protected]  

 

 

Toddler Time

Third Tuesday of each month, 10:30 – 11:15am. Sessions begin in October. No meeting in December or April. Click on the date to register for that session.  Age 12-24 months with an adult.  January 21, February 25, March 17, May 19 Hands-on activities, exploration, and imaginative play for toddlers and their caregivers. Sponsored by Coordinated Family & Community Engagement Program.   

Preschool Play and Learn

Fourth Tuesday of each month, 10:30 – 11:30am. No meetings in October, December, or February. Click on the date to register for that session.  Age 2-5 with an adult.  November 26, January 28, March 24, April 28, May 26 A playgroup for preschoolers and their caregivers. Activities may include tactile play, movement, stories, and crafts. Sponsored by Coordinated Family & Community Engagement Program. 

Special Programs

Winter Read 2020

Let’s read all month long! January 1st through 31st! Pick up a snowflake reading sheet from the library and for every hour you read, fill in one snowflake. Then come in to the library and decorate a snowflake for every hour you’ve read. Let’s turn the library into a winter reading wonderland! And as the snowflakes pile up, watch our reading thermometer heat up with everyone’s total reading hours. Ages 0-18 Register here

 

 

 

 

 

Family Movie Afternoons

Sunday, 1-3pm. No registration is required. Open to all ages. Come out of the cold and join us for a family movie afternoon. Popcorn and water will be provided. Please bring a blanket to sit on, we will be watching the movies picnic style!

4-H Club Norfolk County Cottontail Club

Tuesday, February 18

10:30am-12:00pm

 

The 4-H Norfolk County Cottontail Club invites you to meet our small furry friends! Members of the Wrentham-based club, aged 5-18, will have a variety of rabbit breeds on display and can teach you more about the care and lifestyle of these animals. There will be a rabbit obstacle course to test the speed and agility of some of the bunnies. Information will be available about owning backyard chickens.

Superheroes and Ballerina Dance and Story Time

Thursday, March 5

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No, it’s YOU as a superhero ballerina! Fly and dance into all the fun and excitement as we combine our love for both dance and superheroes. Soar through the sky to rescue our plush animals in need, and then leap and twirl across the stage as we transform ourselves with the power of our imagination. The class is based up the book “Brett and the Magic Super Heroes by Sandi Bloomberg. Children will be delighted with the magic of a toy store in our exciting adventure! Please wear comfortable clothing and sneakers.
