Tales for Goslings
Mondays, 11:30 – 12:00
Age 0–5 with an adult.
An interactive program for babies, toddlers, and caregivers with books, music, and rhymes galore!
Fairy Tale Story Time
NEW TIME! Tuesdays, 1:00 – 1:30p,
Ages 2-5 with an adult.
A story time program that will focus on everything fairy tale! Stories and crafts for the fairy tale lover in your house. Please note, this program will not be held on Ed Morgan Days.
On My Own
NEW TIME! Tuesdays, 2:30 – 3:00pm
Age 3 and up.
An independent story time experience with books, songs, and a hands-on activity. Caregivers must stay in the building, but are encouraged to let children attend the program alone.
Multi-Age Story Time
Age 2 and up with an adult.
An interactive drop-in story time with songs, games, and a hands-on activity.
Wiggly Ones (Registration required)
Ages 2-5 with an adult. Registration is required for the series. Register here for the January 2nd – March 27th Series.
A program that will involve lots of gross stuff that you aren’t allowed to play with at home! Please list any food allergies your child might have when you register or contact Courtney Allen, [email protected]
Monthly Programs 2019
Ed Morgan Sing-Along
First Tuesday of each month October – June
10:30-11:15am, All ages are welcome.
Join Ed Morgan for a sing-along with great music and dancing. A splendid time for everyone! Caregivers must remain with children.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
Music and Movement with Miss Marsha
Second Thursday of the month, October – December.
**There will be no meeting in March.
11:30 – 12:30pm
All ages are welcome.
Come and join Miss Marsha as we move and groove together at Music and Movement! Music and Movement is a program geared for young children of all ages and their caregivers.Sponsored by the Coordinated Family & Community Engagement Program.
Toddler Time (Registration required)
Third Tuesday of each month, 10:00-10:45. Click on the date to register for that session.

Age 12-24 months with an adult.
Hands-on activities, exploration, and imaginative play for toddlers and their caregivers. Sponsored by Coordinated Family & Community Engagement Program.
Preschool Play and Learn (Registration required)
Fourth Tuesday of each month, 10:00-11:00. No meetings in December or April. Click on the date to register for that session.
Age 2-5 with an adult.
A playgroup for preschoolers and their caregivers. Activities may include tactile play, movement, stories, and crafts. Sponsored by Coordinated Family & Community Engagement Program.
Special Programs 2019
Creative Dance with Millis Dance Theatre
Fridays, March 8th – April 12th. Registration is required. *We apologize, but this event is full. Please keep an eye out for future sessions.
Boys and girls ages 2-4.
Children will learn the fundamentals of dance including beginner dance steps set to spirited music. The class offered by Millis Dance Theatre will focus on creative expression through open-ended movement, such as dancing with ribbons, scarves, hula-hoops etc. This lively class is offered to children who have danced before as well as those with no prior experience and will increase flexibility, coordination and musicality.
Children leave this class feeling happy and accomplished!
Caregivers do not need to stay in the room, but MUST stay in the building.
Attire: comfortable clothes (leotard and ballet slippers optional)
Coastal Mountain Railroad
Saturday, April 13th, 10 – 4pm and Sunday, April 14th, 12-4pm. Open to all ages.
Drop in and see this truly extraordinary display of an HO scale model railroad, complete with sound!
4-H Club Norfolk County Cottontail Club
Thursday, April 18th, 10:30 – 11:30am, all ages welcome.
The 4-H Norfolk County Cottontail Club invites you to meet our small furry friends! Members of the Wrentham-based club, aged 5-18, will have a variety of rabbit breeds on display and can teach you more about the care and lifestyle of these animals. There will be a rabbit obstacle course to test the speed and agility of some of the bunnies. Information will be available about owning backyard chickens.

Get creative with your Peeps! The contest is back, so gather your family and friends and create a master-peep!
Monday, May 20th, 10:15 – 11:15am, Babies to 5 years with caregivers. No registration required.
Prom isn’t just for high school any more! Dress up in your fancy frills and dance the morning away at Fairy Tale Magic Prom Day (Fancy dress not required).
**There will be no Baby Time or Tales for Goslings this day.
Teddy Bear Picnic
Wednesday, June 19th, 11-12pm. Town Hill (Weather permitting). No registration required, open to all ages.
Teddy Bear lovers of all ages are invited to Norfolk Public Library’s 1st Annual Teddy Bear Picnic. Bring your teddy bear or favorite toy, a picnic lunch, and a beach blanket or towel to sit on. The event will include: making award ribbons for your bear, singing teddy bear songs, and we will finish with a parade of bears. Families are then invited to stay and enjoy their lunch.
