Registration opens June 5! Kids’ Summer Reading: Build a Better World is for birth through 6th grade. Please visit this link to register.
If you registered last year, you can use your same login information or reset your password. If you are a new registrant, click on the text that says “Join here!” and fill out the required fields. You may begin logging your minutes on Sunday, July 9th. The program runs from Sunday, July 9-Saturday, August 19 (six weeks). Each week you log 120 minutes of reading, you will get to pick out a prize at the library OR get a raffle ticket to put in for a drawing from our prize baskets.

This introductory workshop will teach you how to massage, relax, and soothe your newborn to pre-crawling baby. All of the techniques will be demonstrated on a doll and you will practice the strokes on your own baby during the class. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Jungle Jim: Minecraft Madness

Join Jungle Jim as he leads the audience through the magical world of Minecraft! Are you ready for the creation of the incredible Giant Dragon, competing in the sensational Building Block Madness Tournament, or the riveting Zombie Chase?? Get ready to watch the magic Bone Wand appear, the Balloon Firework Rocket extravaganza, and for the big finale… Jungle Jim creates the biggest challenge of them all: A humongous 6-foot slime ball! This program is supported in part by a grant from the Norfolk Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
Davis Bates Concert: Songs & Stories to Build a Better World with Roger Tincknell
Tuesday, July 25th, 6pm, Community Room. All ages are welcome, no registration required.
This concert will include seasonal songs, just so stories, family stories and more. Hear how the bear missed the train, how coyote got his howl, and about the bravery of a rainbow-colored parrot, and be prepared to sing, move and dance. Learn how to play music with spoons from a kitchen drawer and meet a dancing wooden dog named Bingo. Co-sponsored by the Friends of the Norfolk Public Library and the Norfolk Recreation Department.

Building Blocks Lego Club

Join us for some free building time with Legos! We’ll have bricks, baseplates, and minifigures. You can create whatever you like or build based on a theme. You may not take your creations home.
