Kids Summer Reading Program: Read and Bead!
Kids ages 0-12 (up to rising 6th graders) can earn beads for every 15 minutes they read. Trade the minutes you’ve read for beads. The more you read, the cooler the beads get!
Visit the library to pick out your brag tag with your first round of beads starting June 26th.
Get started by signing up on Beanstack and begin logging your minutes as early as June 17th. (If you are reading in June before then, keep track on paper and then add it to Beanstack when the reading challenge begins on the 17th – that reading counts too!)
There is no limit to earning beads (earn virtual badges once, earn beads all summer!). Read and bead all summer long!
Ready to turn your minutes into beads?
- Request beads through this Google Form. You can pick which bead in which color you like based on how many minutes you’ve logged.
- Submit bead orders by Monday at noon to be available for pickup from Wednesday to Saturday that week
- First bead pick-up day of the summer: Wednesday, June 28th
