Leaning Into Conversations About Race and Racism, 7-9pm in the Community Room. Register here. Discover new ways to make a safe space to engage in dialogue around ethnicity, culture, race, and cultural proficiency. Begin to identify and use strategies and mechanisms to respond to microaggressions that occur in an organization. This discussion will be led by Norfolk’s DEI Director, Jessica Pepple.

COA Book Group (all are welcome), 2-3pm at the Council on Aging. The group will be discussing Just Mercy by Bryan Stephenson in conjunction with March’s Community Read. Registration appreciated, but not required.

What are jails for? The Story of Mass Incarceration, 1-2pm. Register here to receive the zoom link. Open to ages 7+ (adults are welcome to watch). Wee the People, a Boston-based social justice initiative, will present a workshop where kids will learn about activists and champions of human rights who have been jailed, and begin to question assumptions about crime, punishment, and justice.
