Learn how the one-room school building, built near Cleaveland St. in 1845, ultimately became what is now also called “The Schoolhouse”, a permanent part of The Norfolk Free Public Library. Hear about the twists and turns of this “Little Building That Could” as its use and purpose changed over the decades, until in 1951 the first Norfolk Public Library came to be.” Presented by Betsey Whitney and Betsy Pyne of the Norfolk Historical Commission.
